The recent revelations by the press of ramifications of the Libyan business community interests in East Africa speak volumes. While many would want to see this as mere capitalist investment, it turns out that it is not.

The truth is as old as the fight over Jerusalem between two sons of the Biblical Abraham. The idea is to have influence over the people as far south as South Africa . Kenya is the gateway for the moment.

Influence is created with money. That money as it has always been is in the hands of people whose agenda is to rule the whole world. It can also be seen throughout man¢s history that the only practical influence one can have on people of all walks of life is religious.

There are many religions in the world. That notwithstanding, it can be argued that effectively two religions are more prominent and are dictating much of today¢s flow of money and wealth. These religions are Christianity and Islam.

A closer study of world events shows ostensibly that all the bloody conflicts in the world today are an offshoot of the struggle between these two religions. Each wants to control world¢s wealth and power. And this will go on for a long time to come.

Back to East Africa, I recently met a Sudanese who once ranked highly in Garang¢s bush army and is now taking refuge in Finland . I asked him why they were fighting and what ideological basis did they have to support their rebellion.

He told me a very interesting story which was an eye opener to me. He told me that they were fighting Islam. He said that Muslim world has always desired to control Africa . They argued that Southern Sudan stood between them and expansion of Islam down to South Africa . He told me that much of Arabian Peninsula wealth went into funding the Khartoum regime.

They would speak in parables like what was Khartoum lacking to enable it burn its charcoal. The charcoal of course was the black Africans who needed to be converted to Islam sooner than later.

That desire to control Africa has not died. Now that the war in Sudan is officially over and Garang out of the way, there is need to do this job speedily. Gaddafi, for those who know history well, embodies the truth of the yearning desire Muslims have for their own form of Imperialism.

He is very ambitious and once became a great headache to the US for a long time. He has seen some weakness in the world geopolitics because of the entry of China . He has seized the opportunity and is now moving stealthily but fast.

The whole idea is to take over lucrative businesses in the countries of interest and then start dictating terms. It is not difficult to see why Gaddafi wants to buy Grand Regency in Kenya . It is because tourism and tourist form a big chunk of Kenya ¢s foreign exchange earnings. Very soon if not checked, he will have a strangle hold in almost every important sector in Kenya . What more, the Prime Minister and the President are both in his pocket.

Gaddaffi bankrolled their campaign that removed Moi from power. Everybody knows how strong a Christian Moi is. It is therefore understandable why Gaddaffi would do everything to defeat Moi¢s course. So Kenyan¢s should be wary of these things that are unfolding. Sooner or later they will be slaves of Islam.
