The aim of this group is to engage interested persons to help establish the Victoria Institute of Science and Technology (VIST) which promotes the application of science and innovation to sustainable development around Lake Victoria.
VIST is registered as a trust under Kenyan law and works closely with universities and research-oriented intitutions worldwide.

VIST is located at Port Victoria on the Kenyan shores of Lake Victoria. The focus of the institute is be to serve as a hub in a wider learning community. It works closely with local government offices, schools, hospitals, businesses and other development agencies. It is implemented through strategic partnerships worldwide.
VIST is implemented in cooperation with the Science, Technology and Globalization Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

It is my hope that it will succeed.
But where is VIST located around L. Victoria?
I have gone round L.Victoria but I have cme across it!!
VIST is located at Kisumu city in Kenya at Swan center building 2nd floor on the right wing along Oginga Odinga street as you move down towards the Lake side with the delicious fish. Hope you find your way and incase you cannot find it please feel free to contact me on my cell +254721719262
