Enraged members of Nyanza Club are contemplating taking legal redress against officials who are alleged to have siphoned staggering millions of shillings during their regime.

Impeccable sources within the precincts of the outfit confided to the press how successive and current officials have turned the properties of the members as their personal ones with glee.

It emerged to the members recently that one of the members who has been at the helm embezzled millions of shillings under the pretext of refurbishing the golf course through a lady lover. The official in question for starters hails from Central Province (read mount Kenya)

The official who the members have described as one of the most expensive of the time is also alleged to have employed cronies and concubines in the said outfits (Nyanza Club and the golf section).

Sparking further fury and controversy is the fresh revelation that the properties situated next to Kisumu state lodge are a thread away from being auctioned, thanks to a mysterious debt to the tune of Ksh. 24 million incurred by the spending spree cartel who would want to cling on power at all costs for obvious reasons (read plundering).

It is shocking, interesting and worth noting that one the said officials went the full throttle of retaining a lady worker on the payroll despite the fact that the lady had gone to study abroad a couple of years ago. Thus adding credence to the claim of the plundering spree and favouritism prevailing there.

Even though prominent members and some trustees have vowed to bring in sanity and transparency, majority of members are however pessimistic that the war against the entrenched cartel milking the outfit will be won courtesy of their ill gotten fortunes and wittiness.
