JUSTICE Minister Martha Karua yesterday censured members of the Grand Coalition who are critical of the Waki report.
Karua said that it is the same people who advocated for the creation of the commission even went ahead to vow that it would be implemented once the commission was through with its work.

The Minister said that the report should be implemented as was agreed on duribng its formation through a resolve of members of the Grand Coalition Government.
Karua wondered why “some members of the coalition are now dancing around after the commission is through with its work”.
She was speaking in Kisumu where she addressed NARC Kenya members on the party’s manifesto and the Political parties bill.
Karua said that a tribunal should be set up to forge ahead with the report.
She however noted that local institutions had failed hence the violence that rocked the country in the run up to the last general elections.
Karua said that it was strange that some people died during the violence yet only nineteen murder suspects were taken to court.
She said that none of the cases had been finalized at all. Karua said that the country should go international if the tribunal fails.
She gave an example of the Waki commission where some people were hired from outside.
Karua said that the International Criminal court can only come in if the tribunal fails.
The Minister was emphatic that the stand taken by the Attorney general Amos Wako was out of order.
She said Wako will not prosecute those indicted by the report neither will his office prosecute them.
Karua said that violence was sparked in the country right from the time of party nominations.
She said the referendum campaigns made political temperatures to soar in the country along ethnic lines.
Karua said that small people should not be used by the rich for political reasons.
She said that it is the poor suffered most during the post election violence while the rich remained at their villas.
Karua said she will gun for the party chairmanship during its delegates congress on November 15 this year.
