JOURNALISTS GHOST HAUNTS NYAMIRA TOWN COUNCIL.

THE ghost of the late freelance journalist who was brutally murdered and his decomposed body found in Kodera Forestin Rachuony District is still haunting Nyamira Town Halkl where some section of Councillors are said to have had  ahand in his murder which has resulted to a leading Chief Officer within the Council to urgently request for a transfer from the Nyanza Provincial Local Government Officer Mr. Isaac Kirui.
 
During the just concluded civic elections within the council ,three councillors who have been adversely mentioned in regard to the late’s death together with the Chief Officer were defeated hands down despite receiving huge financial support from the area leaders.
 
The former Chairman of the Council John Onchiriformer finance Chairman Charles Barongo and Stanley Charamawere all wiped out by the brigade of Councilors;Charles Sagwe,James Mogusu and Nelson Onyancha.
 
The elections which were presided over by the hardworking Deputy Clerk of the Council Keffa Omwoyo after the clerk sent his side kicks to get a court order to bar him from presiding over the elections yet the truth is that he had been warned not to set his foot in Nyamira until Nyaruri’s killers were found saw the trio sucumbimg to defeat with many opinion sharpers within the region saying that it was all due to Nyaruri’s ghost.
 
Leaders from the area have demanded that the area police to apprehernd the four saying ll fingers point towards them.
 
Meanwhile a chief officer from the council is said to have requested for his removal from the local council claiming that his life is in danger while the reality and the truth is that he is being haunted by the late Nyaruri’s ghost contrary to the reason he gave that his life is in danger.

The said officer who operates car hire business in Kisumu is of late seen sitting miserably at a certain coffe house situated at Unimall or at Easy Coach booking offices miserably looking and operates al l the vcouncil’s affairs via mobile phone  whose result has been a demand for his urgent removal from the council .
 
A councilor who spoke with us on condition of not being named wondered why the council is still paying the said officer yet he has abandoned his duty,”he gets paid yet he does’nt work here as he is said to be idling in Kisumu for the past five months is that not doing s diservice to the tax payers?”he lamented and calle dupon Nyanza PLGO to redeploy the said officer elsewhere.
 
One of his hanger -ons says that of late the officer is withdrawn and at times speaks by himself,”he usually says that he sees the late journalist in his office,bedroom and even on the road while he is driving that is why he is of the view that he gets transffered from Nyamira” one of his errand boys added.
 
Efforts to contact the said officer were fruitless as his phone call kept on ringing neither did he reply an sms sent by thee writter while Kirui admitted that he had received the officers request for a transfer,”to say that it is due to the ghosts he is alledged to be seeing i do not know,only he reqyuested that he be removed
